PVNA Meeting & Elections June 21, 2018

HAPPY JUNE!

There is some exciting news to share! Over the past several months, a number of Picfair Village neighbors have expressed interest in joining the Picfair Village Neighborhood Association board.

With this interest in mind, we are activating the Association and will have a meeting:

Thursday, June 21, 2018
7:00pm
SGI Friendship Center
5899 Venice Blvd. (located at the corner of Fairfax and Venice)
Free Parking entrance on Sawyer

At this meeting, you can meet the candidates and ask questions. We will also have ELECTIONS for the board at this time.

If you have interest in running for a seat on the board, please email picfairvillageINFO@gmail.com.

All board candidates must live in Picfair Village. You must have been to at least one meeting the previous year to qualify as a candidate however this June 21st meeting will also qualify all candidates.

We hope to get strong attendance to support the neighborhood’s future. Come out, get involved and see your neighbors.

Looking forward to a productive meeting!

No Overnight Parking on Venice Blvd

There are now “NO Overnight Parking” signs on Venice Blvd in our area. This was the result of many years of complaints about the RV parking and littering along the blvd. Residents petitioned the city to install these signs and Liz Carlin reported at the last meeting that they were indeed going to be put up. Hopefully this will mitigate any negative impact on our residents.
